The Lubrizol Corporation - Painesville Facility
Lubrizol’s Painesville plant assembled a cross functional team made up of 10 individuals to revamp the Safe Work Program. This team spent a year developing the new program, performing trials in their training center, running a 3-month trial in one section of the Manufacturing area, providing training to all employees and being in the field supporting the Go live. The revamped program has set up the plant to be successful in executing work with a high-risk potential in a safe manner, ensuring everyone goes home alive and well. Award for Excellence Winners
This year, 16 member companies have been selected to receive an award for excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety or Security Performance. Each facility of a member company submitted a nomination on its own behalf which was then submitted and reviewed by our distinguished panel of judges. In addition to demonstrating commitment and achievement in protecting people and the environment, a nomination must focus on a program or activity the company believes represents excellence in environmental, health, safety or security performance.
