Created in 1993, the Ohio Chemistry Technology Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and is the educational arm of the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council (OCTC), the organization that represents the chemistry technology industry in the public policy arena in Ohio.
The Foundation’s mission is to build a better understanding of the contribution’s of Ohio’s chemistry industry, as well as promoting strong science education for Ohio’s young people.
Now in its 21st year, the award-winning Teachers, Industry & Environment (TIE) Conference has brought Ohio science teachers, industry scientists, environmentalists, and government leaders together annually to enhance the quality and appeal of science education. More than 1,100 Ohio teachers have experienced the TIE program.
