OCTC Foundation

Created in 1993, the Ohio Chemistry Technology Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and is the educational arm of the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council (OCTC), the organization that represents the chemistry technology industry in the public policy arena in Ohio.

Mission

The Foundation’s mission is to build a better understanding of the contribution’s of Ohio’s chemistry industry, as well as promoting strong science education for Ohio’s young people.

Programs

Annual Teachers, Industry, and Environment (TIE) Conference – Now in its 19th year, the award-winning TIE Conference has brought Ohio science teachers, industry scientists, environmentalists, and government leaders together annually to enhance the quality and appeal of science education.  More than 1,000 Ohio teachers have experienced the TIE program.
