The Ohio Chemistry Technology Council exists to represent the chemistry industry in the public policy arena in Ohio; to advance understanding of the contributions of chemistry to our modern lifestyle; and to promote the highest standards of environmental, health, safety and security performance.
Structure and Governance
The Ohio Chemistry Technology Council is a member-driven organization with each member company having an equal voice in establishing priorities. Designated representatives from each member company provide input to the Council and vote on all matters brought to the membership for decisions.
The Council's Board of Directors—all of whom are representatives of member companies—oversee all activities of the Council. The Board approves the Council's annual operating plan, including key objectives to be achieved.
An Executive Committee acts on behalf of the full board on matters of governance and sets the agendas for each board meeting. The Executive Committee includes members of the Board of Directors, including the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and President of the Council.
