Created in 1993, the Ohio Chemistry Technology Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and is the educational arm of the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council.
Mission
The Foundation’s mission is to build a better understanding of the contribution’s of Ohio’s chemistry industry, as well as promote strong science education for Ohio’s youth.
Programs
For more than 30 years, the award-winning Annual OCTC Teachers, Industry & Environment (TIE) Conference has brought Ohio science teachers, industry scientists, environmentalists and government leaders together annually to enhance the quality and appeal of science education. Nearly 2,000 Ohio teachers have experienced the TIE program to date.
